An amazing opportunity for an experienced and motivated Events Operations Manager to join the team of this leading hospitality venue that has World Class recognition of its events.
As the EOM you will play a vital role in driving the success of our Events Department. Leading the team from the front, you will ensure that our events run seamlessly and efficiently, catering to all our guests needs and providing memorable experiences on every occasion.
You will look after a wide range of functions, including weddings, corporate events, birthday parties and much more. The role is full time meaning you will be be required to have complete availability to cater to a 7 day rotating roster.
The Role:
- Responsible for day-to-day operations for functions and events across a mulititude of spaces within the venue.
- Working with the events booking team and operations manager to guarantee a seamless operation.
- Provide regular training for your team, as well as ongoing support and guidance where necessary.
- Capable of independently addressing guest feedback, professionally resolving negative comments, and effectively handling any arising issues.
- Liaise in a clear and concise manner with other departments where necessary to optimise the events.
About you:
- At least 5 years experience in a similar role within a premium events and functions company.
- Excellent communicator, capable of workling under pressure and keeping a composed and professional attitude at all times.
- Excellent team manager and trainer. Build the team around you to be the best in the industry.
- An approachable, fun loving and bubbly personality.
