You inspire your team to create memorable experiences with a passion and care for guests. Reporting to the Events & Conference Manager you will be enjoying an inclusive working environment within a dynamic team that extends beyond the realms of Event Services.Main Responsibilities:1. Leading & supervising the Food and Beverage team in operations across the conference and events within the hotel.
2.Ensuring that catering & event operations are delivered to a high standard.
3.Development of operating procedures & service standards for Conference & Events department operations.
4.Working with the Conference & Events team + Director of Culinary and Food & beverage Operations to ensure high performance in conference operations.
5.Ensure that strategies and practices are in place to achieve financial and service quality targets.
6.Create a team that works together with trust and takes responsibility to meet the goals of the department / Hotel.Qualifications:1.Management / Supervisory experience within a multi-faceted Food & Beverage environment .
2.Familiarity & experience in event management & banquet operations. Proven ability to manage food, beverage and wage costs.
3.Be flexible and available on the floor during peak periods of service
4.Lead and motivate a team and act as a role model.
5.Enthusiastic and energized and willing to go over and above to ensure exceptional customer service.
6.Exceptional staff management and leadership skills.
7.Inspirational, highly motivated, has impeccable attention to detail, has a high energy management approach and most importantly works hands on with their team to achieve exceptional results.
