The Glen Hotel is an iconic, award-winning, family-owned, and operated Hotel located in Eight Mile Plains. With a diverse range of facilities including multiple dining and bar areas, gaming room, event spaces, retail bottle shop, 4.5-star accommodation, and a coffee shop. We are a vibrant and thriving establishment and we take pride in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to our guests.
The Hotel hosts over 800 diverse events per year ranging from corporate workshops, seminars, trade shows, weddings, formals and gala dinners.
Our events department is looking for an Events Team Leader. This person must be reliable, hardworking, and passionate about maintaining a consistently high standard of service. We look forward to welcoming someone with a positive attitude and a professional approach to their role. You will be working with a Manager with a wealth of experience who is looking for you to work autonomously while providing support and development to enhance your skills
The role will include:
- Providing service of food and beverage
- Delivering exceptional client experiences
- Delegating duties to team members and supervising the execution of those duties
- An excellent ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Oversee events from set up, sequence of service right through to pack down.
- Liaising with the Events Manager and Assistant Events Manager to ensure you have a thorough understanding of what is required for each event.
