About the opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant who can provide the full suite of professional executive support services to the Chair of the Academic Board and Executive Director, University Governance in a timely and effective manner, ensuring the specific needs and day-to-day requirements are managed efficiently.
As the first point of contact representing the Chair of the Academic Board as well as the University Governance Office, this role requires extensive administrative and organisational skills in order to undertake and coordinate operational activities on a day-to- day basis. Client service skills are also required employing tact and diplomacy and ensuring matters brought to the Chair of the Academic Board and the University Governance Office are prioritised and managed effectively.
About you

• has proven experience in a similar, highly administrative role within a large matrix organisation
• excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in handling a wide range of enquiries and providing excellent customer service
• builds and manages effective working rapport with key stakeholders and staff across all areas of business
• wide-ranging diplomacy, project management and executive administration experience
• ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work
• well-developed negotiation, conflict resolution, relationship building and influencing skills
• excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and achieve required outcomes.
