The Executive Assistant (EA) will provide high level support to the Chief, Strategy, Policy and Communications ensuring the smooth running of the office at all times. They will act as the principal contact point for external stakeholders, partner organisations, members of the public and clients and families, and as required.
Reporting to the Chief – Strategy and Engagement you will:
- Support the overall functioning of the office of the Chief of Strategy and Engagement including, diary management, invitation and request briefings, scheduling advice, travel coordination and other various administrative tasks.
- Act as the principal contact point for external stakeholders including, partner organisations, members of the public and clients and families and support in the coordination of the Orygen Exchange program.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, proactively determining significance and managing distribution.
- Support in the management and delivery of key events within Orygen, managing ticketing, stakeholder engagement, AV and digital requirements and coordination.
You are passionate, energetic and determined to make a difference to health and wellbeing outcomes for young people. The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:
- Extensive experience in a similar role supporting a Chief, Director or Executive member with significant external facing responsibilities.
- Exceptional organisation skills with a passion for planning, organizing and prioritising administrative tasks and systems including managing competing tasks rapidly and ensuring deadlines are met under pressure and diary management.
- Capacity to be proactive, assertive, and work well under pressure or within tight time frames.
- Demonstrated capacity to work under pressure in a dynamic and fast paced organisation.
- Salary package between $90,000 - $95,000 commensurate with skills and experience + 11% super + NFP salary packaging up to $15,900 + $2,600 meals and entertainment card.
