The Role
Working collaboratively with a small team, your primary responsibility will be to provide wide ranging, effective and efficient executive support to a newly appointed CEO who is responsible for the strategic leadership and oversight of operations. This entails providing administrative and secretariat support for Board, Committees, special interest groups and other meetings as required.
Duties
- Manage the secretariat function for the Board, Board Sub-Committees and Faculties as required
- Co-ordinate/attend meetings and taking minute notes
- Write, draft, and prepare documents for the CEO
- Draft correspondence to partner organisations, other medical groups and both federal and state government.
- Manage CEO’s, President’s and Board’s diary, travel, logistics and accommodation as required
- Significant demonstrated experience (5+ years) in a similar role or in a senior Governance, Board Secretary or EA role providing Board and Committee support
- Proven ability to provide high-level organisational skills and proficiency in a wide range of secretariat and administrative skills
- Computer literate – MS Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, CRM’s
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and problem solving
