About the role
You will provide crucial support to school leadership, manage communications, and coordinate events. Ideal candidates possess strong organisational skills, communication abilities, and a commitment to upholding the values of our institution. Duties:
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to Deputy Principal and Head of Secondary, managing correspondence, diary, and calls efficiently.
- Liaise with College staff, students, and parents to facilitate communication and meetings with school leadership.
- Assist in organising school functions, events, and excursions, handling consent forms, bus bookings, and catering arrangements.
- Support front desk duties, relieving the College Receptionist as necessary for seamless operations.
- Collaborate with Deputy Principal and Head of Secondary to lead Jewish Studies and enhance school experience.
- Build positive relationships with staff, students, and the school community to foster a supportive environment.
- Monitor attendance records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and files, handling correspondence distribution as needed.
- Proactively review upcoming College events to aid in strategic planning.
- Uphold confidentiality in all aspects of the role, demonstrating professionalism and discretion.
Skills & experience:
- Must hold a current Working with Children Check or be willing to obtain
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Tech savvy is a must
- Must learn to use internal CRM, Compass
- Professional, caring, and compassionate yet self-motivated and driven
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, OneDrive
- Uphold the College's ethos, vision, and values with dedication.
- Commit to fostering the growth of students and staff across all levels.
- Display expertise in administrative processes and database management.
- Effectively manage and support the work of multiple leaders while fostering a collaborative environment.
