About the Role

We are currently looking for an Executive Assistant to join our dynamic team at Peak Downs Mine site.

Reporting to the General Manager – Peak Downs, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily administrative tasks of the General Manager and providing support to the Senior Leadership Team as needed.

Your responsibilities will include handling day-to-day functions to allow the General Manager to focus on high-level leadership and strategic tasks.

You will also be accountable but not limited to:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and sending communications on behalf of GM
  • Collaborating closely with the GM and leadership team to produce deliverables such as reports and presentations and identifying opportunities for improvement and time optimization.
  • Proactively planning work to ensure the effectiveness of the leadership team, addressing key focus areas, managing preparation, and fostering team/stakeholder engagement.
  • Managing diaries and emails to facilitate efficient organisation and execution of daily activities.
  • Preparing agendas, presentations, reports, and coordinating meeting logistics.
  • Utilising SAP for purchasing (POs/PRs) and expense reconciliation.
  • Handling event management with internal and external stakeholders, supporting projects, and undertaking ad hoc duties.
  • Managing travel arrangements including booking, generating itineraries, and providing support.
  • Active involvement in the local community and supporting GM on projects as needed.
  • Supporting various business functions as required (HR, Finance, HSE).

About You

Key requirements include:

  • Experience as an Executive Assistant with a track record of supporting senior executives, capable of working autonomously, establishing priorities, and managing time-sensitive deliverables.
  • Possess strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills, along with attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a clear passion for improving the workplace every day.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori is desirable.
