Full-time continuing position in a dynamic team supporting cutting-edge researchExciting opportunity to provide high-level executive and project support for Sydney NanoBase Salary $95,860 - $103,341 + 17% superannuation About the opportunityAs the Executive Assistant & Project Officer to the Director (Sydney Nano), you will provide the full suite of professional executive support services in a proactive and effective manner, ensuring the specific needs and day to day requirements of the Director of Sydney Nano and the wider leadership team are managed in highly efficient and effective manner.Your key responsibilities will be to:work within a dynamic team, reporting to the General Manager, Sydney Nanoprovide broad, high level professional executive support to the Director and wider leadership teamprovide secretariat support to leadership group through meeting scheduling and facilitation, document preparation and minute takingmanage the general day to day operations and administration activities for Director & Leadership of Sydney Nanobuild and manage effective working relationships with key stakeholders and staff across the University and with external stakeholdersprovide project support for implementation and delivery of Sydney Nano projectsensure quality application of, and compliance with, University administration policies and procedures.About youtertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in a related fieldexcellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in handling a wide range of enquiries and providing excellent customer servicedemonstrated experience providing high level administrative support at an executive level in a multi-faceted organisationability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving mattersadvanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, with extensive diary management experienceunderstanding of the project life cycle, project documentation and monitoring, project standards and methodologiesexcellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve required outcomes.To keep our community safe, please be aware of our COVID safety precautions which form our conditions of entry for all staff, students and visitors coming to campus.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaPlease note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
