An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly passionate C-Suite Executive Assistant to join this company on a 12-month fixed term contract based in their Sydney offices in Alexandria.
The successful candidate will come from a tech start-up/founder driven environment. You will possess the ability to manage all administrative responsibilities, ensuring smooth office operations and acting as a reliable and trusted support system to the CEO and their Senior Leadership Team. What you'll do:
As an Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the CEO's day-to-day activities. Your duties will include managing complex schedules, assisting organisation of special projects, and providing overall management of smooth office operations. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality support.
- Efficiently manage all administrative responsibilities, handling communications, and ensuring smooth office operations.
- Coordinate and measure both strategic and tactical initiatives across the business.
- Manage complex and frequently changing schedules for the CEO.
- Screen and prioritise emails, phone calls, and other communications for the CEO.
- Arrange and coordinate meetings, both internal and external on behalf of the CEO and Senior Leadership Team.
- Assist with a variety of cross-functional special projects on behalf of the CEO/SLT.
- Manage the on-site Administration Support Function to ensure smooth HQ operations.
- Track and manage expense approvals for the Senior Leadership Team.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Executive Assistant position brings extensive experience in executive support roles within fast-paced technology environment, ideally within a start-up/founder driven environment. With over 5 years of experience, you are highly proficient in using online communication tools and will have exceptional project management and communication skills.
- 5+ years experience as a full-time executive support ideally supporting a CEO/Founder in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook) and other relevant software (Slack, Canva, Confluence).
- Solid project management experience to efficiently coordinate and execute tasks.
- Strong communication experience to effectively liaise with stakeholders and streamline information flow.
- Management of people and delegation experience preferred but not essential.
