Our Accounting Practice is now recruiting a corporately presented, enthusiastic, outgoing individual to expand our Office Administration / Reception team where you will be working directly to the Partner & Practice Manager. We are ideally looking for someone with previous professional office administrative skills to support and expand our current team.
The position being offered is a full-time role working Monday-Friday (5 days: 8.30am - 5.00pm), however part-time hours are also an option working Monday-Friday (5 days: 9.00am - 3pm) depending on your circumstances.

You must have advanced computer skills including the use of excel, wp and database applications. You must also have the ability to work efficiently within a team environment including excellent customer service and telephone manner.
Salary will be based upon experience & capabilities.
About the role
Your primary duties will be supporting the Partner & Accounting Practice Manager by routine tasks such as:
- Reporting directly to the Managing Director and assisting the Practice Manager & Accounting team as required.
- First point of contact with clients & responding to client enquiries
- Liaising with the ATO for various tasks
- Maintenance of the Invoice Register
- Improving current office efficiencies
- Collection, sorting & electronic distribution of incoming mail
- Check & maintain ASIC Company Statements including ASIC changes to Company Statements & through ASIC Connect
- Monitoring multiple email inboxes
- Organising staff events / farewells / Christmas / birthdays
- All monthly/weekly credit card transactions
- Handling of petty cash
- Answering the main phone line & subsequent tasks that follow from each call
- Maintenance of kitchen & office supplies
- Booking, confirming & receiving forms for client meetings

Skills and experience
Ideally, you will have a strong administration background, having previously worked within the Financial Services / Accounting / Legal industry. No formal qualifications are necessary, however previous corporate experience will be essential and used as a strong indication of the requirements of this current position.
You will have good attention to detail, be reliable, able to share a sense of humour & have excellent interpersonal skills. Good spelling and the correct use of grammar are also essential. You will also require your own car as your duties will be varied & require transport.
