The Opportunity
This opportunity presents a chance for a proficient APS4 EA to advance their career and skills within a legal policy area. Although the position starts as a 6-month non-ongoing contract, there is potential for permanent placement.
The Role
In your role, reporting to a FAS overseeing critical legal, governance and health initiatives, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for the FAS, which involves welcoming visitors, managing phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
- Drafting various forms of correspondence, such as meeting minutes, letters, and other written materials
- Organising and maintaining the FAS's schedule, including travel arrangements and appointments
- Facilitating travel, accommodations, and meetings for the FAS and other team members
- Coordinating with different departments and external stakeholders as necessary
- Overseeing office systems and records utilising tools like MS Office, SAP, and TRIM
- Providing assistance for project and research initiatives
- Handling administrative and coordination duties for the broader administrative team
