We are looking for a seasoned Executive Assistant to support a busy CEO at Australia’s peak retail industry association.
The CEO office is fast-paced and is looking for an Executive Assistant who is always two steps ahead.
You’ll quickly become the CEO’s trusted advisor by freeing up precious time in his diary to focus on strategy and advocacy work. You’re not afraid of an intense workload, can manage competing priorities and do all of this with a confident and professional manner.
You can demonstrate an excellent writing capability to manage the CEO’s correspondence to stakeholders which includes letters, emails, briefing notes and meeting papers. You understand how important it is to treat the CEO’s brand with respect and attention.
To be successful for this position you will need to have proven experience to date in supporting a C-Suite Executive and have worked in fast-paced environments.
You need to be able to liaise and manage key stakeholder relationships including CEO’s of ASX listed companies, government officials, unions and media.

Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for access to the CEO
- Detailed diary management
- Draft correspondence on behalf of the CEO
- Manage all administrative requirements in relation to Board meetings including board papers, travel and event planning
- Manage the CEO’s expenses and approvals
- Ensure key relationships are nurtured and developed
