Applicant Requirements:
This role leads the development and delivery of a network of publicly funded health services across WA’s most northern region. As the Regional Director, you will ensure the safe and effective management of health services and district hospitals for WACHS in the Kimberley.
To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate your strategic leadership experience within a dynamic and complex health service environment. You will have a passion for making a difference to the provision of rural and remote healthcare, with a strong focus on Aboriginal healthcare. This will be supported by your commitment to work collaboratively with stakeholders and service partners to deliver regional health services that meet the needs of the community and improve health outcomes.
Your ability to actively support and promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in healthcare will be vital to your success. As a role model for future leaders, you will have a proven track record of building the capacity and capability of nursing staff and other teams. You will be skilled in people management, with the ability to coach and develop a large and dispersed workforce. This will be complemented by your strengths in communication, leadership, negotiation and adaptability.
