How will I help?
We're looking for an Executive Manager Risk Insights who will be instrumental in shaping the way we understand and respond to risks. In this key 2nd Line position, you'll play a vital role in informing our Board, management committees, senior management, and regulatory bodies through insightful analysis and reporting. Although you won't have direct reports, your collaboration with the Head of Credit Portfolio Insights and their team will be crucial in our concerted effort to navigate the complex landscape of risk management.
In your new role, you'll find yourself engaging with senior stakeholders to not only report on various risk-related topics but also to provide deep insights into the implications and potential responses to the evolving risk environment. You'll be tasked with cutting through the complexity of risk data to answer the critical "so what?" and "now what?" questions that drive our strategic response to risks. Your ability to facilitate discussions across different teams will be key to fostering understanding and alignment between the first and second lines of defence.

What do I need?
To thrive in this position, you'll need to demonstrate exceptional project management skills, with a knack for clear communication, meticulous planning, and efficient task coordination and proficient in crafting reports for executive leadership and board members.
A background in banking risk is essential, with a preference for experience in risk governance or credit risk roles. Your knowledge of the end-to-end credit process will be invaluable, as will your ability to communicate complex risk concepts in a clear and effective manner to a variety of audiences. We're looking for someone with a continuous improvement mindset who is always looking for better ways of working.
You'll be self-directed, highly organised, and capable of managing your work to the highest quality and on time. Building effective relationships and quickly assimilating information will be second nature to you, as will your ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organisation.
