The Role:
As an Executive Marketing Strategist you will be at the forefront of driving success for our clients' businesses by leading a performance marketing team of up to 6 Marketing Strategists. You will oversee their account strategies, client communications, creatives, and data analysis. Your team will be managing the accounts for small to medium sized e-commerce clients with huge potential for growth and you will play a key role in shaping innovative strategies, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving overall team success.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of up to 6 Marketing Strategists, providing ongoing support.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Conduct bi-annual performance reviews, setting clear goals and expectations.
- Oversee ongoing training and development for the team.
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing strategies for clients.
- Create innovative approaches to address challenges and drive growth for at-risk clients.
- Champion innovation within the team, exploring new tools and strategies.
- Conduct thorough audits of client accounts to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Assist as experts in sales pitches as required.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring effective communication and understanding of client goals.
- Client-facing interactions to align strategies with client objectives.
KPI Management:
- Review and manage KPIs to track team and client success.
- Focus on client retention as a primary KPI, driving strategies to enhance client satisfaction.
- Minimum 4 years experience in digital marketing ideally with client facing experience.
- 1 year + of leading & or developing a team, preferable.
- Experience in strategising and driving the roll out for seasonal promotional periods for clients.
