Your New Role
The Shire of Narrogin has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated and team-oriented, individual to fill the role of Executive Support Coordinator reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
The Executive Support Coordinator plays a pivotal role in providing exceptional administrative and organisational support to the Executive team of the Shire of Narrogin.
This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and resourceful professional capable of handling a wide range of administrative tasks and facilitating smooth communication between the executive team, staff, and external stakeholders.
The Executive Support Coordinator is integral to the efficient functioning of the executive office, contributing to effective decision-making, and fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
What you’ll need to succeed
The successful applicant will have:
- Business College certificate or equivalent and/or minimum of three years relevant experience.
- Current C Class Drivers Licence.
- Significant word processing and administration/secretarial experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the supervision of a small team.
- Preparation, proofing and editing of key documents.
- Previous experience in Local Government (desirable).
- Previous experience in a secretarial position and qualifications in a relevant discipline.
- Previous experience in organising catered events.
