The Peel Thunder Football Club continues to strive for best practice in the WAFL competition both on and off the field. Our Vision of Building a Stronger Community through Football, has always been at the forefront of our decision-making process and plays an important part in how we engage with our region.
We are seeking a suitably qualified Executive Support Office to ensure ongoing administrative support is provided to the Chief Executive Officer, and Board of Directors to enable operational efficiency and the attainment of our strategic objectives. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Provide administrative support to the CEO, Senior Management and Board of Directors.
- Support the President, Board and CEO in the preparation of Club meetings including the development of Agenda’s and Minutes.
- Assist across all aspects of the Club from time to time, and perform all duties as required by the CEO.
- Manage all incoming calls and general enquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
- Document all monies received at Reception and maintain daily banking records, including online payments.
- Processing of Annual Membership applications and maintain all membership databases.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with players and staff.
- Provide all members, sponsors, customers and visitors with a high-level service at the Peel Thunder Football Club.
To be considered for this role, the candidate must have the following:
- Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent, and/or relevant experience.
- High level of communication skills, verbal and written.
- High level on confidentiality at all times.
- Be able to maintain high workloads and meet deadlines within specified time frames.
- High level organisation and planning skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- National Police Clearance.
- An ability to interact effectively as part of a small team.
- Strong work ethic, ability to prioritise projects and a willingness to work outside business hours, including weekends, when required.
