To help us to achieve these goals we require a talented Executive Support Officer who will provide administrative duties to support the operations of the Executive Director and teams undertake short term research tasks, projects and written assignments, including review and editing of Ministerial and branch correspondence.
Liaise with senior government and private sector executives and community representatives in order to support the business activities of the unit.
The Executive Support Officer reports to the Principal Advisor, Enterprise Technology Services, Information and Technology Branch, People, Information and Communication Services Division.Your Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide administrative support including assisting in the preparation of correspondence, briefing papers, reports and submissions, and ensuring the development of effective Executive Support systems and procedures within and across the work unit.
Monitor and prioritise incoming calls from within the department, other government departments, other jurisdictions and external stakeholders.
Arrange appointments, meetings and conferences including venues, travel arrangements, accommodation and receiving visitors and delegates.
Utilise advanced software packages for the professional presentation of documentation, including the use of computer software applications such as word processing, electronic diaries, email and correspondence tracking systems.
