$90k - $110k Package
Sydney CBD Location
Fast growing CA firm with a great culture
My client is a thriving CA practice, rapidly expanding their presence while also boasting 20 + years expertise in delivering top-notch accounting services.
As a result of growth, they are seeking an experienced External Auditor who is looking to diversify their skillset and transition out of a pure Audit role.
This is a unique opportunity, where you will work alongside the Partner (who started his career in Big-4 Audit) to look after a small portfolio of Audit clients (predominantly in financial services) while learning the ropes in Tax & Business Services.
The role would initially be a 50/50 split with the view to decrease to Audit component to 20% after the initial 12 months. There is also the opportunity to get your hands across some forensic investigatory work, should that be of interest.
Internally you'll be joining a great team environment that is welcoming, inclusive and balanced. You'll have the opportunity to engage closely with clients and develop at your own pace. The Partner is incredibly down-to-earth, genuinely cares about his team, and enjoys cracking a few jokes along the way.
This is a great opportunity to leverage your Audit experience, and move into a firm with a strong future.
The ideal candidate:
CA/CPA qualified or currently studying
3 + years external Audit experience
Comfortable working independently and taking a lead role on engagements
Familiarity with Caseware, Excel and Xero
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
