AddressWe are seeking an experienced and passionate chef to join the team and work amongst our kitchen team to achieve impeccable food service.
About the candidate
The ideal applicant will be enthusiastic and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The applicant will be self-motivated and dedicated to food quality, consistency, and portion control. Strong knowledge of proper food handling, practical cookery, and hygiene standards. The applicant will also have excellent communication, organisation skills with the ability to keep workstations clean and tidy. Applicant will be available for some hours during the week, most weekends as well as daytime shifts and some night time shifts. We are also seeking someone who is personable, kind and calm tempered.
Qualifications and experience
- Certificate III Commercial Cookery (qualification of some sort is essential0
- Food Handlers certificate/training or similar
- Experience in a busy café or restaurant preferred of at least 12 months
Renumeration
The successful applicant will be remunerated according to the Restaurant Industry Award.Permanent part time position available.
