Evenfall Restaurant is a vineyard restaurant with a farm-to-table ethos, and a sustainable vision focusing on Tasmanian produce.
About The Role:
- Assist the Head Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen and the team.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to maintain consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with local producers to source the freshest Tasmanian ingredients for our menus.
- Create innovative and flavourful dishes that showcase the natural beauty of Tasmanian produce.
- Lead by example in maintaining high standards of culinary excellence and food safety.
- Mentor and inspire kitchen staff.
- Contribute to menu development and participate in special events and promotions.
About You:
- Proven experience as a Chef, ideally in a farm-to-table restaurant.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
- Local knowledge of Tasmanian produce and suppliers.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
