About the Role
Reporting to the Partner of Business Services, you will play a pivotal role in this business team. This is a career path filled with development opportunities, offering close collaboration with the senior accounting leaders on strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will have superior communication skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels plus an interest in training and mentoring junior colleagues.
You will have excellent attention to detail with motivation and determination, the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot. You will utilise your knowledge to deliver accurate and dependable results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client engagements and mentoring, training and reviewing of staff.
- Workflow management, monitoring work-in-progress, a high profile client portfolio for the business.
- Opportunity to manage multi-entity private clients.
- Lead the team, delivering insightful analysis, and supporting the strategic decision-making process.
- Leading relevant improvements to systems, processes, and controls
- Foster strong relationships across the organisation and collaborating with other teams.
Skills and Experience
- CA/CPA qualified accountant essential
- Experience leading a BUSINESS SERVICES team
- Technical competency
- Strong Xero skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven track record in achieving results with the ability to prioritise, work in accordance with reporting needs.
- Confident in decision making and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to adapt and respond to changes emerging in a rapid paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timeframes.
