We are seeking an experienced administration professional to join our dynamic and rewarding healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities
Executive Support:
- Provide comprehensive one-to-one support to an Orthopaedic Surgeon, including managing schedules, coordinating appointments, and preparing for meetings and presentations.
- Act as a liaison between the surgeon and other medical staff, patients, and external partners.
Multi-Site Coordination:
- Efficiently manage responsibilities across multiple locations, adapting to the unique needs and protocols of each site.
- Ensure seamless communication and coordination between sites.
Clinic and Theatre List Management:
- Schedule and organize patient appointments and surgical bookings.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth operation of clinics and theatres.
- Manage cancellations or rescheduling as needed, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
Patient and Operation Accounts Management:
- Oversee patient billing and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle insurance claims and liaise with insurance providers as necessary.
- Keep accurate records of all transactions and patient accounts.
Patient Liaison:
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing information and assistance.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction.
- Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in all patient interactions.
Document Preparation and Management:
- Produce high-quality typed correspondence, including patient letters, operation notes, and medical reports.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and complies with legal and organizational standards.
Additional Support to Other Practices:
- Provide support to other practices within the organization as required.
- Adapt to different team dynamics and work environments, maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
Continuous Improvement:
- Actively seek ways to improve processes and workflows within the practice.
- Contribute to team meetings and organizational initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and patient care.
