We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fresh Produce perso to join our team at Good Things Grocer.

As the Fresh Produce Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire fresh produce department, ensuring the highest quality, freshness, and presentation of our products.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and lead a team of produce department staff, providing guidance and support

- Monitor and maintain optimal levels of fresh produce

- Implement effective merchandising and display strategies to enhance the visual appeal of the department

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail or grocery setting

- Strong knowledge of fresh produce, including varieties, seasonality, and quality standards

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make effective decisions under pressure

- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service

-Ability to read and write English to a sound level

-Open automatic drivers licence

-Ability to safely lift 10kgs

-Forklift licence highly advantageous 

The position is part time with renumeration hourly award wage.
