We have an exciting position available for a motivated and Experienced Sales Agent to join our close-knit and vibrant team. We have a strong sales reputation in the marketplace and are consistently the market leaders in the area. This is an opportunity to work for an industry leading agency ranked Agency of the Year and Agent of the Year in Emu Park and Zilzie. You will be working as a Sales Agent, and also supporting a highly successful Principal who has extensive real estate experience servicing the Capricorn Coast and surrounding market. This is the perfect role for someone who has a similar experience, who is highly organised and can work under pressure. No two days will be the same in this challenging new position and would be perfect for someone who likes to get out of the office. You will be Supported by a Sales Administration Assistant.
This position is offered as a Commission Only role and the successful applicant will be required to research, source, list and sell proprieties in order to receive a percentage of generated sales commissions.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 12 months of experience in the real estate industry as a Sales Agent is essential
- Hold a current Real Estate certificate of registration
- Have a valid unencumbered Queensland driver's license and your own car
- Proven track record of success in listing and selling properties.
- Have strong communication skills
Day-to-day responsibilities include
- Utilise your expertise in real estate sales to source, list and sell properties.
- Build and maintain a strong understanding of the local market and industry trends.
- Develop cohesive relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Conduct appraisals, open inspections (scheduled and by appointment), and settlements.
- Coordinating photographers, floor planners and listings.
- Managing diary appointments
- General support to the sales team
- Organising marketing campaigns
- Liaising with vendors and buyer
- General administration duties
- Contribute to the maintenance of the office appearance and general appeal.
- Maintaining detailed information in our management systems, including, but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; and Console Cloud, REI Master, RealWorks, Renet, and Booking Calendar Programs.

Be a team player - a strong commitment to teamwork and the ability to contribute positively and collaboratively to the team.
Excellent computer literacy – have excellent keyboard and computer skills or willing to learn, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and a thorough knowledge or the ability to rapidly acquire a thorough knowledge of Console Cloud, REI Master, RealWorks, Renet, and Booking Calendar Programs. The ability to quickly learn new programmes is crucial.
Superior trouble-shooter - an ability to identify and implement sensible, workable solutions to everyday and complex problems when under pressure or within tight deadlines.
Current Licenses and Registrations - Hold a current Queensland Certificate of Real Estate Registration and have a current, unencumbered Queensland driver’s license.
Willingness to work outside of normal business hours. As a Commission Only Sales Agent you will have the flexibility to set your own work pattern. You will be required to perform open homes on weekends and after business hours; conduct appraisals and settlements as required; and meet with clients at their convenience. Your success as a Commission Only Sales Agent will be commensurate to your ability to balance your work and life commitments.
Previous experience. The role will only be offered to an experienced Real Estate Sales Agent.
Police Check – You will be required to provide a police and conviction history and this will be taken into consideration to determine your suitability for the role.
