Bullocks Freightmasters International, a leading player in the global logistics industry, is looking for a dynamic Export Logistics Executive Assistant. This unique role involves working closely with the Freight Forwarding Manager on customers’ international and domestic exports. You will have the opportunity to report directly to the manager and interact with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, all while supervising an Export Coordinator.
The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience in an Export Logistics department, including completing export documentation. Excellent communication and relationship development skills and demonstrated professionalism and ethical behaviour in working with internal and external stakeholders are critical. These competencies are essential requirements for candidates to be considered for the position.
The key responsibilities of the position include the following:
- Maintain and document cost-effective freight services from providers for quotation to customers
- Arrange freight services and terminal bookings as instructed
- Complete export documents and ensure procedures are accurately and promptly followed
- Communicate on behalf of management with staff, customers, freight services, and cargo receivers.
- Monitor and report on job performance for senior management
As the Export Logistics Executive Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting management to establish and maintain robust working relationships with internal departments, significant customers, suppliers, and government authorities. Your work will be instrumental in supporting all aspects of export freight forwarding services, from assisting staff, customers, and suppliers to monitoring cargo movements from collection to destination.
The Export Logistics Executive Assistant operates from the head office of Bullocks Freightmasters International, based in the centre of Fremantle, Western Australia.
Applicants must have a clean National Police Clearance, provide a one-hundred-point identification check and complete related pre-employment checks and assessments.
The successful Export Logistics Executive Assistant will enter into an employment agreement and, depending on qualifications and experience, receive a remuneration of $70,000 plus statutory superannuation.
