In this role, your technical and creative skills will be put to the test as you deliver fabrication of a high quality and on a variety of our small and large scale assets, including water, recycled water, sewer treatment plants, and pump stations to name a few. Some of our assets require specific knowledge to work with stainless steel and aluminium, and if you’re keen to learn, we’ll provide on the job training!
Working alongside experienced fabricators who’ll support your journey, you’ll ensure reliable fabrication of Barwon Water’s supply and sewerage facilities. We’ll provide ongoing training including confined space, forklift licenses, as well as specialised techniques such as MIG and TIG welding, setting you on the path to a long-term and fulfilling career.
As a lot of our assets are located across our broad region, there will be a variety of workshop based and onsite working requirements, so you’ll need a current driver’s license, and undertake a pre-employment medical (including a drug and alcohol screening).
Supporting our customer needs, you’ll participate in an out of hours roster, that offers remuneration and flexibility with fortnightly RDO’s.
