Due to exponential growth, our client is a global employer who's seeking to add an experienced Facilities and Asset Manager to join their team in Australia.
As a Facilities and Asset Manager, you'll oversee the safety, functionality, and performance of Facilities and Assets, nationwide.
Your new role
Facilities Management:
- Conduct safety inspections.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs.
- Manage building systems.
- Oversee janitorial services.
Asset Management:
- Develop strategies.
- Optimise asset performance.
- Plan maintenance schedules.
- Monitor equipment.
Vendor Management:
- Negotiate contracts.
- Evaluate vendor performance.
- Coordinate work orders.
Budget Oversight:
- Assist in budget preparation.
- Monitor expenses.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in Facilities and Asset management operations, industry best practice, building codes, and legislative requirements relating to facilities management.
- Electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications are desired, but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of building systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
