Your Opportunity
You will act as the integral Facilities Manager for a single multi-level commercial site working alongside a dedicated Property Manager to conduct the day-to-day operations and management of a commercial building in the Inner-East. It is an exciting and dynamic role where you will be based on-site managing contractors, daily operations and maintenance coordination, conducting site inspections, and involve great stakeholder management and customer service skills to clients and tenants within the building.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Proactively managing the presentation and operation across the property, including making recommendations for improvements
- Taking ownership of tenant requirements, anticipates needs and manage building contractors.
- Ensuring that the day-to-day facilities requests and any reactive or preventative maintenance is completed to satisfactory levels and liaise with incoming contractors
- Ensuring all building compliance and rectification projects are undertaken
- Procurement, sourcing and quoting works, working alongside a group of approved contractors or sourcing reliable contracts.
- Managing the overall building performance and appearance - including external building walkways, pathways and areas.
Your Attributes and Background will include:
- We seek a proactive, self-starter who has an eye for detail and presentation - this role might suit someone up and coming, or someone with experience.
- Strong contractor management and stakeholder management skills on top of excellent communication skills
- Excellent ability to pick up different systems and processes
- Exceptional customer service management skills who will be able to communicate effectively with multiple key tenants and stakeholders.
