OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE The Facilities, Grounds and Maintenance Lead, in conjunction with the College Facilities, Grounds and Maintenance Manager, is responsible for the safety, compliance and oversight of the grounds, buildings, furniture, equipment and resources on their particular campus. The Facilities, Grounds and Maintenance Lead will work closely with the Facilities, Grounds and Maintenance Manager to monitor the condition and use of all facilities and equipment on the relevant campus. The Facilities, Grounds and Maintenance Lead may be required to work at any of the three College campuses. The Facilities, Grounds and Maintenance Lead reports directly to the Facilities, Grounds and Maintenance Manager.
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY The responsibilities of the Facilities, Grounds and Maintenance Lead include but are not limited to: i. In conjunction with the Facilities, Grounds and Maintenance Manager, developing and implementing maintenance programs for buildings and infrastructure on the relevant campus; ii. In conjunction with the Facilities, Grounds and Maintenance Manager, setting and achieving budgets for the Maintenance Department for the relevant campus; iii. Managing staff and contractors on the relevant campus; iv. Performing other day-to-day duties as requested by the Principal, Director of Business or Facilities, Grounds and Maintenance Manager.
