CBC have an exciting full-time opportunity available for a Facilities Manager to join the growing Melbourne team. This is a new role and will see you working in their growing Melbourne office, in Keilor Park. This position will involve supporting a mix of schools in and around Melbourne.
About the role:
- Responsible for the delivery of efficient and cost-effective FM services across a portfolio of schools across Melbourne and surrounding suburbs
- Manage the HSE program and provide annual HSE inspections of each school
- Work with building management, supervisors and contractors to resolve issues in a timely, respectful, collaborative and professional manner
- Prepare, manage, and update budgets in conjunction with the client and other team members.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining preventative maintenance schedules and risk management procedures/compliance, asset management and other agreed premises management initiatives
- Preparation of a consolidated monthly report including client service requests, key issues, project status and project pipeline
- Manage and maintain accurate data of systems and equipment usage.
- Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and ensure appropriate actions are taken to mitigate risks and minimize disruptions to operations
- Assisting with financial planning, asset management, WHS, project management and continuous improvement.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager looking to join a new and growing team. This role will be pivotal in maintaining functional excellence and ensuring compliance for a critical account. Ideally you will bring:
- Previously Facilities Management / Service Maintenance experience working across either, infrastructure, construction or property
- Competent IT skills and comfortable with spreadsheets
- Mechanical aptitude is desirable and experience with fire safety is highly desirable
- Experience in managing reactive and preventative maintenance of Assets
- You hold very strong stakeholder and trade management skills
- You are energetic, proactive and enjoy working as a team player
