Facilities Project Coordinator

The RoleThe Works Delivery group is responsible for the delivery planning and safe execution of all maintenance and minor capital field work across Water Supply, Sewerage, Drainage, Waterways and Catchments for Melbourne Water. Reporting to Manager Logistics this role is responsible for identifying and implementing strategic improvement initiatives for Melbourne Water facilities.This will be achieved through:Collaborating with key stakeholders to maximise the efficient use of physical space within Melbourne Water owned and leased facilitiesProvide specialist ESM and compliance advice to the Facilities Management team and the broader Melbourne Water teams to ensure buildings are compliant and provide assistance with decommissioning aging building assets.Manage and coordinate the capital allocation of funds to deliver minor uplift works and provide insights and potential list of future projects for budget /pricing submission cycles.Development of functional requirements and business case's for capital improvement works on facilitiesFor more information please click on the Position Description:About YouAbility to Deliver strong customer focused outcomes and building key relationships with internal and external stakeholdersProven access management and project development experience preferably within a public sector environment.Proven ability to provide a high level of customer service, and contribute to a constructive, positive and supportive team environmentWorking knowledge of Essential Safety Measures (ESM), Victorian building codes and regulations, Australian Standards, OH&S legislationAbility to work under pressure and manage competing prioritiesDemonstrated initiative and ability to self-prioritise and perform complex professional/technical workThis is a full time role primarily based from 990 La Trobe Street, Docklands.
