Construction Chemicals is a major manufacturer of Ceramic Tile Adhesives, Waterproofing Membranes, Concrete Repair Compounds and a range of building industry products. Established in 1975 the company has grown to have manufacturing facilities in five mainland Australian mainland states, New Zealand and Asia.
About the role
We are looking for a self motivated hard working individual to join our team in our Wingfield branch.
Duties will include and not limited to:
- Batching and Packaging our products during production
- Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient and continuous operation
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and minimise down time
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Conduct quality checks on products to maintain high standards of quality and compliance with specifications
- Assist in the packaging and labelling of finished products for shipment or storage
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production areas, including clearing any debris or obstructions
Skills and experience
Previous experience as a production worker or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
Candidates should possess a current fork lift license.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks as some heavy lifting will be involved.
Excellent problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and repair common machinery issues.
Mechanical knowledge and experience with automated bagging systems will be highly regarded.
