About the Position
We are looking to welcome a FamilyTherapist to provide Functional Family Therapy - Therapeutic Case Management, a whole of family approach to help reduce the risk of abuse and harm to children.
- Full Time opportunity government funded to 30 September 2026 with possible extension.
- Level 5 under the SCHCADS award. Salary range is $93,860 – $98,112 plus super.
- All training, line supervision and external clinical supervision is organised and provided by the organisation.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Help families recognise how their interpersonal relationships affect their functioning as a family.
- Supports families to learn skills that will help them navigate future challenges.
- Attend team meetings, supervision, and coaching session.
- Collaborate with families, team members and external stakeholders to meet the identified needs of the family.

About You
- A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (Allied Health, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services).
- Professional registration (if required) and membership of a relevant professional association (desirable).
- At least two years’ experience providing case-management and/or therapeutic services to families, caregivers, young people and children in a child protection framework.
- Well-developed communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills that can be applied within a therapeutic family session.
Other Requirements
- Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
- Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical exemption.
