About the Position
We are looking to welcome a Family Therapist to provide therapeutic family casework services using the Functional Family Therapy - Therapeutic Case Management model to referred families where there is child protection risk for the family. FFT-TCM is a whole-family model that helps families recognise how their interpersonal relationships affect their family functioning and supports the family to learn skills that will help them navigate future challenges.
Part time (0.6FTE) opportunity.
Level 5 under the SCHCADS award. Salary range is $93,980 - $98,112 plus super (pro-rata).
All training, line supervision and external clinical supervision is organized and provided by the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
Maintain a regular caseload of client families, and attend team meetings, supervision, and coaching sessions.
Complete systematic assessments of family needs using prescribed clinical measures.
Collaborate with families, team members and external stakeholders to meet the identified needs of the family.
About You
Tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Allied Health).
Professional registration (if required) and membership of a relevant professional association (desirable).
Willingness to be trained and participate in all activities associated with the FFT-TCM model.
Two (2) years relevant casework or therapy experience with children and families in a child protection framework.

Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
