About the Position
We are looking to welcome aFamily Therapist to provide therapeutic family casework services using the Functional Family Therapy - Therapeutic Case Management model to referred families where there is child protection risk for the family. FFT-TCM is a whole-family model that helps families recognise how their interpersonal relationships affect their family functioning and supports the family to learn skills that will help them navigate future challenges.
- Part time (0.6FTE) opportunity.
- Level 5 under the SCHCADS award. Salary range is $93,980 - $98,112 plus super (pro-rata).
- All training, line supervision and external clinical supervision is organized and provided by the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain a regular caseload of client families, and attend team meetings, supervision, and coaching sessions.
- Complete systematic assessments of family needs using prescribed clinical measures.
- Collaborate with families, team members and external stakeholders to meet the identified needs of the family.
About You
- Tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Allied Health).
- Professional registration (if required) and membership of a relevant professional association (desirable).
- Willingness to be trained and participate in all activities associated with the FFT-TCM model.
- Two (2) years relevant casework or therapy experience with children and families in a child protection framework.
