Form of work We require 3 workers on a Full-time basis commencing from May or June 2024 for a period of 4 years. This work would be in the Neergabby and Gabbadah areas of WA.
Work carried out will be under the Modern Horticultural Award 2020 hourly rate.
Must be committed to a minimum 5 days/nights per week, 8-10 hours per session for the
duration. Varying early starts (any where between 11pm-5am) depending on
crops/products availability and management requirements. Candidates may be offered
extra hours of work to ensure all crops are harvested/sorted/packed as required by
management. Flexibility is essential as crops growth/harvest is weather driven and may
be intermittent. All work will involve outdoor conditions (as well as some indoor) which
can be cold, wet and dirty. We need reliable and flexible workers who are physically fit.
Duties may include but are not limited to harvesting, cleaning, trimming & sorting of
vegetables in the fields and sheds. Regular lifting, constant standing and/or bending to
cut/pick/pack/sort products is required. You are also required to work in a team. Ability
to follow instructions and adhere to company QA and OH&S requirements are essential.
No public transport available, so ability to travel to work locations is essential and must
be addressed in the application. Work is offered through an agency on a full time basis.
