Left Field, a local, pioneering labour hire company specialising in the horticulture industry in Tasmania, is looking for an enthusiastic Field Leader to join their team!

About the Role:

As the North-West Coast's Field Leader, you'll be the driving force behind our farm operations, ensuring productivity is at its peak while maintaining a vibrant and positive working culture. This role is perfect for someone who loves the idea of working hands-on in the field while also taking on leadership responsibilities. With a company car at your disposal, you’ll weave in and out of various teams across North-West Tasmania, becoming the essential link between our Lefty Workers, Farm Managers, Supervisors, and Left Field Management. 

Your Mission:

• Navigate through various farms, embedding yourself within different crews to bolster productivity, skill development, and a positive work environment.
• Act as the eyes and ears for management, ensuring that our standards of excellence are met and upheld.
• Foster a culture of trust, safety, and fun, resolving any issues swiftly and effectively.
• Be a mentor and a role model, guiding our teams with empathy, expertise, and enthusiasm.
• Ensure that our partner farms receive exceptional service, maintaining and nurturing strong relationships.

• Has a background in agriculture or horticulture, with hands-on experience in farm work.

• Possesses excellent communication skills, with a knack for resolving conflicts and building strong relationships.
• Is passionate about innovation in agriculture, eager to contribute to our community’s growth and success.
