The role is NSW based and can be located working from home in for instance, Woolongong, Newcastle, Dubbo or Wagga as frequent travel will be required. Primary workload will be NSW region based but interstate travel will also be required.

FOSS Pacific is part of the FOSS Group, a worldwide leader and supplier of dedicated analytical solutions to measure and control the quality and production of agricultural and food products. FOSS Pacific has offices in both Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting to the Service Team Leader based in Brisbane, you will be working in a small team of specialists, providing service to our customers within the Feed and Forage, Dairy, Wine, Meat, Grain, and Laboratory market segments.
Primary tasks
As a FOSS Service Engineer, you will:
• Provide onsite breakdown repair support to our customers.
• complete instrument installations,
• train customers in the use of their FOSS equipment,
• help plan and schedule your service work
• provide rapid remote support,
• complete preventative maintenance services and,
• maintain good inventory control of your stock of spare parts
Qualifications, Experience and Requirements:
• A recognized electrical, engineering or electronics qualification.
• A current X-ray use license would be well regarded.
• Work experience as a Service Engineer.
• You are proficient with the general computing and main software packages.
• The right attitude, in terms of a strong technological interest and a strong will to learn.
• You are in possession of a valid driving license and current passport.
• The legal right to work in Australia and travel internationally (on occasion).

• You are detail oriented, organized and systematic with good planning skills, with a capacity to perform in a fast-paced environment.
