Reporting to the Port HedlandField Service Supervisor, we are looking for a highly motivated Field Service Heavy Duty Mechanic to join the WesTrac team.
The successful applicant will carry out warranty and customer repairs on a range of CAT machinery and associated products in a timely and efficient manner, You will also be required to carry out Field Service work on a regular basis in Halls Creek, The variety of equipment you will be working on includes D10 and D11 Dozers, 992 Wheel Loaders, 24M Graders and a wide range of models of Off Highway Trucks (777F - 793F). This work will be completed in a collaborative, team environment with a strong focus on safety.
Location: Kununurra, Western Australia
Roster: Residential - 5/2; 5 days on 2 days off or 10/4 - 10 or 12 hours per day. Overtime if required
To be successful the following is required:
- Australian-recognised Heavy-Duty Trade Certificate - Mobile Plant
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and also autonomously
- Heavy equipment product knowledge - Component change out experience seen as advantageous
- Be well aligned and exhibit WesTrac's SPARC values of Safety, Pride, Accountability, Respect and Customer.
- Field Service experience
- Basic soft skills ability i.e. excel, word, outlook
