This is an opportunity to join a high profile mining contractor as a FIFO HR Business Partner.
Working on an 8:6 roster, you will be responsible alongside a back to back for the full end to end lifecycle for the site-based workforce.
- Supporting the Senior Leadership team, duties and responsibilities will include:
- Manpower planning
- Liaising with the recruitment team to support timely and efficient process
- Supporting onboarding and probation reviews
- Provision of advice pertaining to legislation, policies, processes and procedures
- Leading the performance review process
- Leading employee relations including poor performance, grievances and disciplinaries
- Interpretation of industrial tools
- Ensuring integrity of HRIS and reporting
- Supporting the implementation of HR projects and annual cyclical processes
A mining or related human resources background would be preferred but is not essential. It is expected that you will be a qualified and experienced generalist HR practitioner who has managed the full end to end employee lifecycle and provided coaching to line management to ensure best practice. You will be collaborative in your communication, work well in a team and ideally have prior experience of working remotely or within a FIFO environment.
