Fifo Project Manager

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for Project Managers to join our FIFO operations teams working on remote Earthworks / Concrete/ Roadworks projects in NSW. We fly from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. 
  
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Determining construction methods, materials and quality standards, and drafting and interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods and procedures
• Prepare and submit notifications to the Client / Principal Contractor as required
• Organising and assist in directing site labour and the delivery of construction materials, plant and equipment, and establishing detailed programs for the coordination of site activities
• Monitoring changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, and measuring, valuing and negotiating variations to designs in consultation with the Commercial Manager
• Research and advise on the best engineering solution to meet with the Client's needs.

About you:

• Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineering is preferred
• Minimum experience in similar role with Roads / Concrete/ Earthworks 
• Previous experience working a FIFO or DIDO roster to a remote site
• Demonstrated experience in dealing with a direct workforce as well as managing subcontractors
• A comprehensive background in project management, project controls or construction management
• Superior time and priority management skills
• Confidence in managing across a range of different relationships throughout the business and on site
• Experience in Estimating, Formwork, Steel reinforcement, Earthworks, Concrete, Roads, Piling and Excavation - Preferred
