We are seeking a part-time (minimum 4 days per week) Finance & Accounting Officer to support our business.

Your responsibilities will include:
- End-of-month journals
- BAS and ATO compliance
- Reconciling balance sheet items and bank accounts
- Maintaining accurate records of daily transactions
- Processing of accounts payable and disbursement invoicing
- General financial administration
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications (minimum Cert IV)
- An understanding of GST and tax compliance
- Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and procedures
- Ideally, an understanding of trust accounting
- Experience with AR/AP/GL functions and the month-end/year-end close processes
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Confident, excellent communication skills and an ethical approach
- Comfortable working to deadlines within a team
