Enviro Plant Hire is a reliable, Western Australian owned and operated plant hire business servicing customers in the infrastructure, resources and energy sectors across Australia. With sites in Perth and Karratha, we source and supply quality plant, equipment and machinery, also offering low emission equipment so our clients can deliver their projects safely, efficiently and cost-effectively, while minimising their carbon footprint. We are looking for a key team leader to join our team and manage the Finance and Administration sector of our business working closely and reporting to the Managing Director. We have a small team currently of six staff members and this position will play an important role to the business ensuring the financial and administration areas are controlled and managed to the highest of standards.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Managing the day to day financial transactions, accounting operations including the processing of Accounts Payable & Receivable.
- Ensuring accounts and payroll processes are undertaken to a high level of quality, accruacy and timeliness, ensuring monthly financial accounts are accruate and up to date for EOM processing.
- Managing Overdue Accounts and Monitoring Cashflows.
- Managing Payroll for a small team of six staff currently.
- Preparation of Budgets, Cash Flow Forecasting, Financial Statements & Management Reporting to the Director and Board.
- Prepare P&L Monthly Asset Reporting.
- Manage Asset & Depreciation Schedules.
- Oversee and Manage Project Claims reporting to the Managing Director.
- Scheduling Bill Payruns & Authorising Bank Payments.
- Stategic financial management, including cost and revenue optimisation.
- Conduct financial analysis assisting the Managing Director with business decisions, identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and drive profitability.
- Monitor financial performance and provide monthly financial reports to the executive team.
- Manage all business and debtor Insurances and prepare insurance renewals working closely with external providers.
- Work closely with our outsourced book-keeper providing information/documentation as required.
- Managing Document Control and Integrated Management System for ISO accreditation, working on task schedule, delegating tasks and preparation for yearly external audits.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions where required.
- Managing Accounts Inbox for joined entities while responding to all queries in a timely manner.
- Any other financial and administration tasks as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or another related field. (Essential)
- 4 years' + relevant experience in Accounting/Finance and Business Administration. (Essential)
- CA/CPA Certified (Desired)
- Proficient in Xero Accounting Software (Essential)
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel) (Essential)
- Extensive knowledge and experience in accounting and administration procedures, including payroll.
- Expert level in reporting, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
- Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Reliability and ability to work independently with great efficiency, must have a strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines and targets.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to multi-task and work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
- Positive, energetic, ambitious team player.
- Experience in Document Control and Maintaining an Integrated Management System for ISO accreditation (Desired)
- Experience in Carbon Neutral and Climate Active (Desired)
- Experience working in the construction or plant & equipment industry (Highly Desired)
