The Finance & Administration Manager will be responsible for the provision of general accounting and financial support, including analysis and preparation of reporting information.
Through your extensive Netsuite knowledge you will drive continuous improvement through processes advancement.
Accuracy, integrity and deadline management will be your key indicators of success.
You will also play an important role in support of key stakeholders including operations, sales, and marketing departments.
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations this is a role with plenty of variety.
The Role:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial operations within the company, invoicing, debt collections, supplier payments and other transactions.
- Oversee the function and reporting suite of Netsuite, ensuring data integrity is of a high standard.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, half yearly and annual reports.
- Prepare and lodge indirect tax such as BAS, FBT, payroll tax and etc
- Manage the administration function including staff and assist in their development.
- Assist in delivery of special projects on time and within budget.
- Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
- Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
- Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations and adhere to accounting standard
- Actively nurture the Griffiths Bros culture of continual learning, mentoring and team ethos.
- Assist and manage Ecommerce platforms (Shopify) with view to integrate into Netsuite.
Skills and attributes:
- Fully qualified CA/CPA finance professional with a minimum of 1-2 years of working experience. Candidates working towards CA/CPA qualification will also be considered.
- Proven experience with Netsuite ERP.
- Experience in a similar role in FMCG industry preferable
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Capable of handling stress and performing well under pressure.
- Strong IT/computer competency (office 365).
- Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
- Proven project management skills.
- A pro-active, customer focused approach to work.
- Strong communication, negotiation and problem solving skills.
- Approachable team player.
- Coffee appreciation is very highly regarded.
