About the role
- In this role, you will working closely with the Refinery Finance Manager and the Refinery Leadership Team, supporting month end processes and generating insightful reporting.
- You will be responsible for month end close processes, oversee capital project reporting, preparing annual budgets with a number of key stakeholders, and margin integration with the Supply Chain business.
- Perform financial modelling to review new initiative proposals and assist in preparing periodic forecasts.
- Support preparation of financial results presentations, provide analysis for input into the overall strategy for the Refining business.
About you
- CA/CPA qualified and/or BS degree in Finance (Economics or a related field).
- You may come from a similar role in industry or be seeking to gain exposure to oil refining / complex manufacturing operating environment.
- Ability to develop a basic financial model for forecasting or scenario analysis with exposure to Power BI.
- Understanding of accounting principles is required. You should have the
- Ability to develop strong relationships to liaise effectively across the business.
- You will have strong reporting and communication skills and be able to manage multiple priorities and ideally experience within in an ERP such as JDE.
