Across the whole of Australia Statutory Valuations review and Objections function for two Major Government /Corporate clients JLL deliver Valuations and Advisory review and objection services across a premier client base incorporating commercial, residential, retail and industrial.

What this job involves
The ValuationAnalyst will provide support, analytical and technical assistance to the National Valuation Manger within the Melbourne based client offices under a long-term Services Contract. Providing timely, accurate valuation data analysis and input under supervision, to support the Statutory Valuation Review process across a range of Commercial, Retail and Industrial owned Assets in every State and Territory.
- Providing direct assistance as required to enable the Valuation Manager to identify data errors and Lodge Statutory Assessment Objections across both Land Tax and Council Rates Assessments Nationally for two Major Institutional Clients.
- Undertaking financial and sensitivity analysis to the Valuation Manager to identify Statutory Objection opportunities.
- Compiling and verifying Statutory Notices and entering Data into a new Global Valuation Management System.
- Tracking Objections lodged, answering Government Body queries and uploading data when Objection responses are received.
- Assisting in the compilation of Valuation Information packages for bulk Valuation assignments including the upload of Leases, Building Plans and Outgoings information for external contract Valuers.

Desired experience and technical skills
The candidate must have a keen interest in the Commercial Real Estate market and an understanding of the influences in the Statutory Valuation Sector.
Ideally the successful Applicant will have Tertiary qualifications in property valuation, however this position may also be suitable for an applicant who is experienced in Valuation administration or has worked in the Valuation field for a minimum of 3 years and is fully conversant in title and lease details and understands the Statutory Valuation process.

- Computer literate preferably in PowerPoint, Excel & Word.
- A willingness to learn new processes and enter data into a new Valuation Software System.
- Enthusiastic to establish open, constructive and collaborative relations with colleagues, clients and the wider business community.
- Willing to regularly communicate own plans and performance progress.
- An effective listener, with the ability to communicate through action and example.
- Able to prove your ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and to tight deadlines.
