The role
We are currently seeking a full-time Finance Analyst, who has completed a relevant Bachelors qualification in Finance and/or Accounting. Ideally, you will have had practical experience over the past 2-3 years in a private, global organisation.
Key duties/Responsibilities
- Manage all financial functions and administrative tasks of a Business Unit (BU), inclusive of; accounts receivable and payable, payroll (approx 20), reconciliation of accounts, budgeting and reporting.
- Be responsible for managing the reporting and control measures to follow the financial health of the BU.
- Provide strong support to the BU General Manager on strategic management thorough performance analysis and specific reporting.
This role reports directly to the CFO of the company and follow the global financial framework and deadlines of the company.
Skills/Experience
- A University Degree in Accounting.and/or Finance.
- Studying towards or willing to complete CPA
- Drivers Licence
- Lateral thinker, with the capacity to develop innovative concepts for solutions to technical, complex issues.
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational skills and time management.
- A can-do attitude, willing to give everything a go and ability to motivate others.
- Comfortable with travelling interstate for an extended period of time for development opportunities.
- Ability to create and maintain stakeholder relationships.
