Rosewood Care Group is currently looking for an experienced Finance & Payroll Officer to join our team.

Attractive salary packaging is available for the successful candidate. This is a full-time position, 38 hours per week.
Reporting to the Senior Accountant and Senior Payroll Officer, key responsibilities will include:
Accounts Receivable:
Assisting in the end-to-end accounts receivable function including but not limited to:
- Transaction processing
- Reconciliations
- Following up on outstanding debt
- Maintenance of accounting records
- Relevant financial reporting
- Resolving resident queries in a timely and professional manner
- Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders
- Providing ad hoc administrative support to the Finance Department when required
Accounts Payable:
- Providing assistance and back up to the accounts payable function as required
Payroll
Assisting in the end-to-end payroll unction including but not limited to:
- Preparation and processing of fortnightly payroll for all employees
- Reconciliations
- Processing of allowances, deductions, Government Paid Parental Leave scheme, workers compensation and termination payments
- Resolving payroll queries in a timely and professional manner
- Other payroll-related duties as required
To succeed in the role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years accounting and Payroll work experience;
- An understanding of Residential Aged Care (desired but not essential);
- Excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Ability to problem solve;
- The ability to work both autonomously and within the wider team;
- To be reliable and trustworthy with confidential information;
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
- (Knowledge of lnerva is advantageous)
- Able to plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines; and
- Experience in a similar role is required.
- Tertiary Qualification in Finance or Accounting
